"And you, how old are you? I asked the maple tree:
While opening one hand, he started blushing."
George Bonneau, Le Sensibilite Japonaise
Definitely one of the most beautiful things I've seen here in Canada, is the change of the color in the leaves of the Maple trees. For many could be something pretty normal in this time of the year, the lovely autumn, but for many more is (in the words of Bonneau) when the trees start blushing. The full landscape is painted in red, yellow and orange saying good-bye to the green and welcome to the white. Taking a leaf with my hands and play with the rays of the sun at sunset make me feel happy to be here and now. Finally every place has its magic and this is always in the simplest things...Don't you think so?
